Robert Dobbin

Mr. Dobbin has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Robert has worked for a variety of large construction firms and agencies as both an Estimator and Project Manager for projects ranging between $500,000-$17.1 million. He served as a cadet and officer for our country from 1975 to 1979 while attending the United States Military Academy, where engineering was his main focus.

Mr. Dobbin founded West Point Contractors, Inc. in 1994 and serves as President. Beginning as a one-man operation, WPC has grown into a diverse, thriving construction company, with over 35 employees. Primarily, Mr. Dobbin performs as a Senior Estimator overseeing scheduling and administrative functions, and is a Pre-Construction Consultant.

Joel Alley

Mr. Alley began his career in construction.  In 1999 assisting his father, Mr. Dobbin in the development of West Point Contractors, Inc. He was responsible for facilitating communication between vendors and subcontractors, provided technical consulting on the newest computer technology and software purchases. During this time, Mr. Alley also took on the role of Bid Estimator on many projects increasing employed contacts by 25%. By 2007 he rose through the ranks now holding the status of Executive Vice President.

Mr. Alley has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He works with our senior staff in developing and focuses on business development. Mr. Alley drives West Point’s strategic focus on new and emerging markets. He has significant experience with federal procurement, including large-scale construction projects, IDIQ/JOC contracts, operations and maintenance projects, as well as design-build projects. Mr. Alley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and has completed certifications in OSHA-10, American Backflow, SEI Solar PC Design and Installations, SBA E200 Entrepreneurship Program, and Ace Project Management Training.
