West Point Contractors currently has a need for a Project Manager responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of our construction projects located at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson and throughout AZ. The ideal candidate will be in Arizona and have experience with tenant improvement and vertical construction.

- Coordinate communication between key stakeholders and team
- Monitor costs to ensure profitability and margins are within standards
- Monitor and report resources and day to day operations
- Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure corporate profitability goals are met

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field is required
- 7+ years’ progressive experience in vertical and heavy civil environments
- Experience in federal or public environments
- Previous management experience
- Previous experience with government contracting
- Knowledge of construction, tenant improvements, repairs/alterations, and heavy civil
- Maintain the ability to work in high-production environment
- Demonstrated decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with all MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with construction, estimating, and project management software (HeavyBid, Buildertrend, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
- Project Management experience in civil construction preferred
- Experience in design-build projects preferred
- Knowledge of construction, tenant improvements, repairs/alterations, and heavy civil

Superintendent Responsibilities
- Supervise functional construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise and manage resources to make sure project objectives are met.
- Supervise and direct field supervisors and other contractors to ensure productivity, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
- Assist project team in scheduling, developing, and implementing project procedures, working documents and standards to ensure project goals.
- Interface with all on-site work teams (including subcontractors) as required, to resolve problems, ensure quality, safety, scheduling and achieving schedules in support of overall project objectives.
- Recruit and hire qualified individuals to maintain high-performing teams.
- Analyze training needs and opportunities and work with OD and EDI to ensure needs are being met.
- Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
- Review shop drawings and prepare submittals for conformance with project specifications
- Keep an accurate submittal register for each task order
- Coordinates, supervises, and manages on-site trades personnel and subcontractor work.
- Knowledge of acceptable construction site practices including OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.
- Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques

Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalency. Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
- 3+ years in construction management and/or craft supervision experience (i.e. Foreman) in a similar field of construction
- 3+ years quality assurance and quality control in the field of construction
- Experience in federal or public work projects.
- Experience with commercial roofing is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards; and union jurisdiction, labor agreements, negotiations essential
- Experience working on projects ranging from $5M-$20M in a firm fixed price environment.
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- QCM Certification
- Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills required
