West Point is one of five awardees of the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Contract Number: 697DCK-23-G-00012 for Design/Build construction services for the FAA. This is a ten-year, $999,000,000 contract for work throughout the US States and its territories.
This contract will support The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which provides a total of $5B in funding ($1B per year over five years) to upgrade the foundation of the FAA’s air traffic control.
The work at buildings and equipment upgrades around the country are creating jobs for local suppliers, construction workers and communities.
West Point is currently hiring construction professionals (project managers, superintendents, quality control managers, safety officers, and trade foreman) with industry experience to support this contract and the FAA mission. We are also working to expand our team of qualified subcontractors and suppliers who able to support upcoming projects.
Current major projects include new construction and renovations and critical infrastructure backlog projects, which include but are not limited to:
o Roofing and waterproofing
o Plumbing
o Electrical
o HVAC systems
o Fire Sprinkler and Alarm
o Drywall
o Site Improvements
o Life safety issues
Various types of facilities are included in the BOA – among them ARTCCS (facilities responsible for controlling aircraft); CCFs (manage aircraft arrivals and departures); CERAP (manages aircraft arrivals and departures); ATCTs; base buildings, TRACONS, Communication Towers and
RADAR Towers, among others.
